Group Obedience Class:
This class will teach you and your dog how basic cues can help with good manners and leash etiquette.

Whether this is your first dog or you are a veteran pet parent, Valerie will help you learn to clearly communicate with your dog.

Requirements:

- All dogs over 4 months are welcome
- Distemper/Parvo (often abbreviated as DHPP) Vaccinations
- Bordetella Vaccinations

Class Description:

Basic dog obedience is designed to teach essential commands that every dog should know and is designed for dogs with little to no formal training experience. This program will cover: verbal and/or hand signals applied to training techniques and general applications for day to day life with your dog.

Commands Include:

• Sit
• Down
• Sit Stay
• Down Stay
• Sit While Moving
• Heel
• Finish

In addition to Basic Commands taught in most obedience classes, Valerie includes some intermediate obedience behaviors designed to help cement the Sit/Stay as well as the heel.

This class is unique in the desert.

Did You Know?

Body language is the primary form of communication for dogs while verbal is secondary. This class will teach you how to communicate using your body language and understanding your dog's body language.
